What are your preschool hours?
9:30 a.m.--1:30 p.m.
Do you have aftercare?
No, we are a half-day program only.
Do you have a kindergarten program?

At what age can a child attend DHUMP?
We begin accepting children into our Discovery program at 13 months of age and go through Kindergarten. For more information on our Programs click here.
When do tours begin?
Tours begin in January and run through February or until we are full with a wait list. Please check the Web Calendar for more information. The tour is a casual walk through the school, a peek into the classrooms and to answer general questions about our preschool. You may bring your child.
When is registration for new families?
The second or third week in February begins open registration. Everyone re-applies every February with the updated application. Currently enrolled families have registration priority the week before new families. Check out our Web Calendar for detailed information.
What information do you have on your summer program?
Our Summer Program consists of 2 four-week camps and is open to families enrolled in our regular school year only. New families may apply by appointment only.

Do you have a Parent Orientation or Open House?
Parent Orientation is the Thursday before the first day of the new school year. This meeting is a time for parents to ask teachers questions or to make an appointment if needed. Meet & Greet is the next day. On this day parents bring their child to meet his/her teacher and to get familiar with the classroom. This is a time for you and your child to visit the classroom and not a good time for discussions with the teacher. Letters are sent out pertaining to this visit. Are Scholarships Available?
Scholarship Applications are available in the Preschool Office. The Scholarship Program strives to meet the needs of families in our community. However, the funds available to the Scholarship Program are limited. The Scholarship committee will meet in March and the deadline for Scholarship Applications is Mid-March. Scholarship notifications will be sent out prior to spring break. The Scholarship Committee will also meet on an emergency or special basis to consider applications during the school year if needed. http://www.dhump.org/webcal/month.php
Where Are the School Entrances?
You may enter the preschool at the Ponce de Leon Ave. entrance at the church offices or on the Briarcliff side if you arrive before 10AM. If you arrive after 10AM and before 1PM you may only enter the building at the Ponce de Leon Ave church entrance and will have to pass through preschool office to get to the classrooms. Our office is located on the second floor above the church offices on the Ponce de Leon Ave side of the building. The elevators will be locked 10AM-1PM.
