Juanita Furlow has been teaching in the Explorer age group since 1993. She has 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Each year the parents of children in Ms. Juanita's class comment on the wonderful family feeling of the classroom.

Jay began teaching the Explorer group in 2006. Jay is the proud father of a baby girl and he hopes to return to school to get his degree in Early Childhood Education.

Nicole Coleman began teaching at DHUMP in 2001. She has attended child development workshops and has earned a Child Development Credential. She's working on an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and Administration. Her experience at DHUMP has been rewarding, both for her and our kids.

Lisa Lester has been a part of DHUMP since 2001 as a parent and an active volunteer. Lisa watched her daughter grow up in the DHUMP family and she came to realize that she wanted to give that same experience to other children. Prior to becoming a full time Mom she spent 10 years in corporate public relations.
Christina Bulostin started teaching at DHUMP in 2006. Christina has been a Yoga instructor since 1999 for adults and children. She is also a Doula (birth attendant) and a Thai massage therapist. Christina is the proud mother of two boys.

Marcia began teaching preschool in October 2001. Her goal is to provide a loving and stimulating environment that encourages children to be independent and instills a love of learning. Marcia has four children.

Elvira Ajtuni is a native of Guatemala. She has lived in Atlanta for several years with her husband and her daughter. We first witnessed Elvira's love of children several years prior to her coming to work at DHUMP as a teacher. Elvira has been a caring and loving nanny for several DHUMP children in recent years. She speaks to the children in both Spanish and English and shares her cultural background and her joyful attitude with everyone around her.

Christie moved to Atlanta from Merrels Inlet, South Carolina in 1992. She has worked in retail and in the restaurant business. She is the mother of two young boys, one a DHUMP grad and the youngest a current DHUMP student. Christie says she loves DHUMP and the staff so much that she knew she had to be a part of the family. She loves working with children.
