Kay Rosenblum has been DHUMP’s Creative Play enrichment teacher since 2000. She is a member of Young Audiences and a Georgia Council for the Arts residency artist. Kay is also the Program Director for Circus Camp and a storyteller at libraries and schools.

Kristan Swenson has been a teacher at DHUMP since 1995. She is best known for her puppet shows and Storytelling. She teaches 3-day twos with Donna Taylor as well as creating a puppet enrichment program on Tuesdays. She says that helping children develop into a confident and happy little people is always her goal.

Sarah Newton moved to Atlanta in 2004 with her husband Adam, an Atlanta chef, and two sons Ethan and Evan who are both DHUMP students. She was born and raised in Michigan, earned a BS from Central Michigan University and taught English as a second language (ESL) before having children. She is thrilled to teach, play, laugh & learn with the DHUMP children and is DHUMP's Spanish teacher.

Elvira Ajtuni is a native of Guatemala. She has lived in Atlanta for several years with her husband and her daughter. We first witnessed Elvira's love of children several years prior to her coming to work at DHUMP as a teacher. Elvira has been a caring and loving nanny for several DHUMP children in recent years. She speaks to the children in both Spanish and English and shares her cultural background and her joyful attitude with everyone around her.

Kim Speece came to DHUMP as a parent in 2002. She is the mother of two girls, both attended DHUMP. Kim also served as the PTA president for two years. This is when she became passionate about beginning a library. Kim is now the librarian of a wonderful and rapidly growing preschool library. She attended James Madison University in Virginia, majoring in Communications and Health Sciences. She worked as a news producer specializing in health stories for television stations in Richmond and Charlotte. She was also a freelance producer in New York.
